The No. 1 Fat Loss Myth: Eat Less and Exercise More to Get Leaner

You’ve likely heard the following mantra parroted by almost everybody in the fitness and health space:

“To lose fat, you need to be in a Calorie Deficit by eating less and/or exercising more.”

But, what if you have actioned this advice before and failed?

Well, you’re not alone.

And if you have actioned this advice before and succeeded, this was not the underlying mechanism for your body composition change.

Let me explain.

Many people who repeat that mantra do so with an incorrect premise. That premise is that if you’re eating less and moving more, you’re by default getting leaner and healthier.

But this is not entirely true.

The truth is that fat loss is not simply a matter of reducing Caloric intake in your diet and/or increasing Caloric expenditure via exercise.

Your body is complex, and being overweight is a function of fat accumulation, NOT overeating and sedentary behaviour.

What does this mean?

In my latest >>video, I explain the concept of fat accumulation in more detail and how to stop it.

I also provide real-life examples of people who have lost weight without cutting calories or upping their exercise.

In the video, you will learn why Calories aren’t as important as you’re led to believe.

You will also get a quick history lesson of where the ‘eat less and move more’ approach for leanness and health comes from.

…as well as how it gained the prominence that is has today.

By the end of the >>video, you’ll understand how it’s the nature of the food that you consume (not it’s attributed Caloric value) that is the main determining factor of whether you will be leaner and healthier (or not).

Plus, you’ll get a better grasp of how various factors like your health and hormonal status, the type of exercise you do, and the state of your digestive system play a role in whether you will lose weight or gain weight.

Getting a greater understanding of the true science behind fat loss could change everything for you.
