Chocolate Muscle-building Smoothie
This quick and easy muscle building shake is full of taste and good calories. The spinach hidden within is a good boost of iron too. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup of milk, 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 tbsp flaxseed, 1 cup baby spinach, 1 tbsp almond butter, 1 tsp cinnamon, ½ cup of ice for texture.
Method:
Ensure the flaxseeds are finely ground. Place all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth – simply add more ice if thicker texture is required.
*Tip – Pair the smoothie with a banana for added post workout calories.
